We would like to encourage our patients to register for MyMedicare, a new Australian Government initiative designed to strengthen your relationship with your regular GP and healthcare team.

What is MyMedicare?

MyMedicare is a free, voluntary registration system that allows you to formally nominate your usual GP and clinic. By registering, you are letting Medicare know who your main healthcare providers are.

Why register?

Registering for MyMedicare benefits both you and your GP:

• Better continuity of care – your GP and healthcare team can get to know you better, track your health needs, and provide more personalised care.
• Access to new funding and services – some government programs and incentives will only be available to patients registered with MyMedicare. This helps our clinic provide more comprehensive care and support to you.
• Improved care coordination – especially for patients with chronic or complex health conditions, MyMedicare supports better communication between your GP, specialists, hospitals, and aged care providers.

How to register

You can register for MyMedicare online through your Medicare Online Account or the Medicare Express Plus app, or you can complete a paper form at our clinic. Our reception team is happy to help if you have any questions.
